LUZERNE COUNTY - Rep. Alec Ryncavage (R-Luzerne) today enthusiastically launched the grand opening of the newly formed West Side Regional Police Department (WSRPD). The ceremony celebrated the historic regionalization effort that started more than two years ago to unify the police services for Edwardsville and Larksville boroughs.
WHAT: Rep. Alec Ryncavage (R-Luzerne), along with local, state and county officials, will be attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil a rebuilt magisterial district judge office. The office will be at the site of a former district court building that was destroyed by fire in May 2024. The new facility will be dedicated to the late District Judge James Haggerty. District Judge Josh Moses will hold court at the new facility, which is behind the Edwardsville Borough Building.
