Hunter Education Course this Saturday!

Join State Representative Alec Ryncavage and the Pennsylvania Game Commission for a hunter education course on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ashley Borough Building, 49 West Cemetery Street, Ashley.

This six-hour class is required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. Lunch will be provided, and attendees will receive their certification upon successful completion of the exam at the end of the course.

Attendees must be at least 11 years of age to register for this course.

Pre-registration is required and available here.

This course isn’t just about hunting – it’s about building responsible, educated and safe outdoorsmen and women. Whether they are aiming for their first deer or just enjoy spending time in the woods, this course sets them up for success. Hope to see you there!
